Bizarre accident & situation...

What is the name of your state? Alabama.

Ok heard from an old friend (female) a few weeks ago. Known her for roughly 4 years or so. She lived where I went to college at. Hadn't talked to her in a couple of years till a couple of weeks ago. Well during that time she got a bf, engaged, and supposedly broke up and all that good stuff according to her a couple of weeks ago. Since then occasionally talked (twice) and sent text messages a few times. Well tonight she says lets meet up at the mall. She lives 45 min away, me 5 min away. Well I go to mall and wait. Well she says meet her in the parking of a different part of the mall. Well I pull down there, there are two dudes a motorcycle and white Mustang GT. She used to drive a white V6 mustang when I knew her. Well I said I was there through text and asked where she was. She goes walk over to my car (I'm parked 50ft away, no one in the parking lot but us). Well the two dudes start walking my way,so I through it in rev cause it felt all wrong. Well I'm in my truck (THANK GOD). White dude reaches through window and hits me in my eye that i just had surgery on. So I tear out of the parking lot and call 911. Well guy jumps on motorcycle chases me down around the perimeter of the mall, cuts me off, stops, gets off cycle and starts beating my window (window rolled up now) with his fist and helmet. I wheel around the guy and cycle and keep going. He then gets in the stang that the other guy was driving (bitch is in the car the whole time) and runs me down again, and cuts me off. Gets out of the car and starts beating on the window again and trying to open my door. Well I'm blocked in this time, so I punch it and ram the crap out of the stang to get out of the situation. I have a Warn brush guard and end up doing quite a bit of damage. Spun the car around, went down the road and waited on cops. Well cops come and dont even take this guy to jail. They give me the option of pressing some misdemeanor against this guy Monday.

No accident report was taken since it was on private property. How do I need approach the situation. I have some dents and other damage from him hitting my truck with the motorcycle helmet and his fist. I have very little if any damage at all from ramming the car to get out of there. I had two seperate witnesses that saw him beating on my truck. There statement was taken by the officers. No injuries even though he did hit me in the eye that I had surgery on a few days earlier.
