My friend who does auto body had finally picked up my car to complete some work that I paid him for back in Jan. As a loaner he left one of his vehicles for me to drive while he was completing the work. Unknown to me he was under-insured (only carrying liability) & I was hit. Due to the circumstances I was ticketed for the accident. When I called my insurance company to place a claim I was told that in Colorado insurance follows the car, not the driver. I can't seem to get a straight answer as to who's insurance company is responsible for the damage. Can anyone help me find the answer???
