broken tooth

I live in Fl.My tooth was broken by a bone (looks like it) in a bratwurst. So far I've had $3450. of dental bills. The insurance co. for the food co. is dragging it's feet. How long do they have to settle my claim and what can I expect?

You can expect them to drag its feet until you go away, make it appear that you will sue, or get a lawyer. And they will give you a lowball offer.
