Broken Up In Florida

While vacationing in Florida, my husband tripped over a vacuum hose while cleaning out our rental car, slipped off the curb and broke his foot. It's now in a cast and he cannot work. Does the station have any liability or is my husband on his own for just being "clumsy"? Thanks, DD

Your husband may have a case against you for forcing him to
vacuum Florida beach sand from a rental car. Rental car
companies do their own cleaning.
