i was involved in a car accident and i received a release form from the other drivers insurance company. I didn't sign the release because it states that they will send me $170 for my car damage, but then they are not liable for any future claims including personal injury.
i have been going to physical therapy because since the accident, i have been getting upper back pain, it's like muscle spasms.
1. do i need to get a lawyer to get compensated or can i contact the insurance company myself?
2. i have medical insurance that paid for physical therapy and dr's visits, can i claim that money even if my insurance has paid for it?
3. how much $$ can i ask for "pain and suffering"?
any help is greatly appreciated
