can i get diability though social security?

What is the name of your state? [SIZE=3]crushed left heel 5yrs ago classified 15% disabled in left foot by doctor. close to 30yrs at job want to retire because of foot. will get pension. can i also get disability social security?[/SIZE] tennessee!

Social Security disability means you are 100% disabled and cannot work at all because of that disability. Go to Social Security web site for more info.
