What is the name of your state? Florida

I am a cosigner on a car loan. For that reason, my name appears as a co-owner.

The actual owner of this car rear-ended another vehicle and did not have insurance.

Can I be sued?

Thank you.

Yes. As a registered co-owner of the vehicle, it is also your responsibility to ensure proper insurance is on the vehicle.
