What is the name of your state? Texas

If someone is involved in an accident. And is also being accused of street racing. If there are spectators involved. What could be the outcome if some one was injured?? (Sorry not sure if I am asking the question correctly) Will supply more info requested.

try again

If some one has an accident and they are being accused of street racing at the time of the accident, if there are any injuries to the spectators. Is there any liabilaty on the part of the spectators because they were there watching an illegal activity to begin with??

My response:

No. Spectators on the street have the right to be pedestrians. All because they're watching an illegal activity, doesn't make them culpable for any injuries.

Also, who taught you "sentence structure"? Were you absent on the day that your teacher was teaching grammar?

IAAL, a recent criminal case was just decided last week regarding spectators at street racing events.

The police raided a group of street racers and arrested a group of people who admitted they were there to watch the street racing. They were all charged with participation in an illegal race competition. One was just convicted last week and was sentenced to some time in county jail and probation.

A new law came down last year prohibiting people from being spectators at street races.

Now, this may put some risk assumption or comparative negligence on a spectator who is watching something they know is illegal and dangerous and happen to then get hurt by one of the cars.
