car arson..i need help!

hey some kids set my car on fire and i was parked in front of a friends house on the street by his yard...would i be able to file a claim with his homeowners ins. or would i have had to been parked on his yard or driveway..?

The homeowner has no liability for your being parked on the street and your car burned. Put in a claim with your auto insurance company ... assuming, of course, you are covered.

Personally I would go after the kids who set the car on fire. Of they are minors, let their parents pay for the damages and maybe they will teach their children not to torch anymore cars.
