What is the name of your state? NJ
My boyfriend's car was damaged by a few large branches that fell and cracked the windshield in 4 places and left scratches and dents due to winds over 50 mph. He spoke to the owner of the property, who from the beginning gave him a hard time. He filed a police report and filed a claim with the owners property insurance. The car is a Mercedes and is now at the dealership. The insurance adjuster went to look at it and is giving a much lower estimate than Mercedes and wants to put an "after market" window in it. We feel that the car should have the exact same window that it had prior to the damage. They are giving us a huge runaround and hard time. Can anyone give us some advice or help? :(

He had the equivalent of an after-market window in his car when it was damaged.
