What is the name of your state? Pennsyvania
I'm in the process of divorce the car I am driving is in my husbands name only. We live apart, the insurance company refused to renew the policy upon expiration. My husband purchsed a new policy for the car he is driving but not the one I am driving. I can't afford to get my own policy. If there was an accident who would be responsible?

Q: If there was an accident who would be responsible?

A: The person who caused the accident.

My response:

You, plain and simple. If you're living apart, why would you expect him to buy your insurance?
