Car rear ended my car what's it worth? Please read

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? mn
HIstory about my car: I have a late 90's toyota camry that has been hit by hail but since I only have liability I never reported to my insurance and fixed the broken glass myself.

Accident: I was at a dead stop with my signal blinkers waiting for on coming traffic to clear before I make the turn- never made the turn- a car rear ends me- He admits fault-

Insurance Since my car had previous hail damage my car ain't worth a buck- still waiting to hear what they will compensate me with if anything. They will not repair the car-

What I am thinking Even if they compensate me I won't be able to purchase another car same year ( same condition ) not even close. If so they would want my car and if not I'n stuck with a very low compensation and a rear ended car? Can I go after the driver of the other car in the court system?

You are only entitled to the actual value of your car at the time of the accident.

Minimum you should get for your basic transportation value is in the neighborhood of $500-$750.
