What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?I live in Texas, and my car was hit 3 weeks ago. I have only made 2 payments on my car, a 2006 model,1 of which while I was using a rental, and as of today, they have yet to begin work on my car. I was told that the total damages are in excess of $9,000, and I am certain that this will lower my trade-in/resell value considerably. Is it possible to get reimbursed for the differences in value of my car held before the wreck as oppose to what it will be when I get it back?

If so, how would I go about doing this.

Thanks.
