There are designated smoking areas at work, but people still smoke where they are not allowed to. The smoke is being breathed in by me and others. I work in the U>S Postal service. I work in Pennsylvania. What is managements responsibility, and what can be done by me or anyone else affected by this problem. Management has been told about this by me and others, but it still goes on. Is there any legal action that can be done about this if management is not doing anything about this?

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

check out the department of labor and labor codes, as well as safety codes in your state.

Sometimes, the only thing that can be done is a reprimand by management. But if they are unwilling to do it, are you willing to jeapordize your job?
