I was rear ended by an SUV while sitting on an offramp in my little Corolla. The SUV was moving at about 50mph and my car was totalled. I received neck and back injuries.

Before all this happened, I was doing a major home improvement project that is about 50% complete. I was doing the work myself every night after coming home from work. Now I can't complete the project due to my injuries. Am I entitled to file a claim that includes the cost of hiring a contractor to complete the work? Thanks
