What is the name of your state? Texas, A friend of mine was involed in a car accident on July 11,2004.The lady ran a red light and crashed into him,the lady said that he ran the light to the police officer, which witnesses disagreed (has names and phone numbers). She swore to this and did not know at the time that there were witnesses. His truck was a company one and it was totaled in the wreck and went to the hospital in a ambulance for back and neck pains. He had previous back injurys but substain broken vertabras in his back and still complains of pain today.the insurance company finally paid for the company truck after they relized the lady lied to them and to the police.the insurance company is sending letters to file a claim before 7 /11/ 2006. There is one catch though he had been drinking beer earlier and (maybe) intoxicated. No tickets were given to him at the wreck or at the hospital after he talked to the police. Can this be used against him in court, charges filed agaist him since the insurance wants the medical report or should he let it go? Thanks,J.P.
