Colorado. Auto accident. Other drivers fault.

What do I say in a letter to an insurance company regarding: Medical and other costs that I may have coming. Medical bills are documented. How do I ask for "pain and suffering", cancelled vacation, and what other expenses am I entitled to? Thank you.

DO NOT BE A FOOL.

You do not have a clue as to what the case is worth and if you did, without a lawyer handling the matter for you, the insurance company would pay 1/10th to 1/3 of what it is worth, if that. Read the section in FreeAdvice.com under Accidents or Auto Accidents about dealing with insurance companies on your own!

Lawyers handle these on a contingency, no fee until you collect.
