What is the name of your state?FL
Soon I'll be insuring a car, Im young so the insurance will be high.
Im planning to put this car under my mother's name but not everything is clear for me.
Lets assume that car is under my mother's name, we live in the same house. Im not under the insurance policy. There is just my mother.

Situations

1. I was a driver. I got into the accident. It is my fault.
a) will I get a ticket for not having a insurance?
b) will my mother's insurance cover damages that Ive done?

2. I was a driver. I got into the accident. It snot my fault
a) will I get a ticket for not having a insurance?
b) will the other person insurance cover damages that he have done?

If you are eighteen the title and insurance need to be in your name. Insuring a car that you drive in your mother's name without disclosing that you are the primary driver is fraud. This means that the insurance company could deny coverage in the event of an accident.

The best way to keep your insurance low is to not get any tickets or accidents.
