Crashed Motorcycle 2 hrs after purchase

What is the name of your state? Texas

I have a friend who bought a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle and was hit from behind while stopped at a traffic light by an illegal alien who was drunk and had no car insurance. The bike entered the intersection and was run over by another vehicle. I believe it will be totalled. Is there any replacement policy by the motorcyce dealership if the motorcycle is totalled within a certain time frame or any law that covers such an incidient?

Yes, my friend had insurance on it.
