Damages!$$$$!

What is the name of your state? FRUITS AND NUTS

Slammed my a bilnd bat....Need new left door...
HER FAULT....Can you believe it!

I want the car repainted because it's very difficult to Match Silver.
The Estimate reflected that. Ofcourse the insurance company adjuster thinks we need to just slap on a new door and some paint and we're "good to go". Their Estimate was $1,600 mine is currently about $4,000.

How can I convince the Faulty Drivers insurance company to see my point of view?

please advise..deliver me from insurance company pergatory!

In the state of Fruits and Nuts, it is the car owner's responsibility to pay for any metallic paints, not the at-fault driver's. This is one of the many laws in your state that don't apply in any of the other 50 states. My suggestion is that you move to a different state.

In Fruits and Nuts, the insurance company is obligated to returned your door to it's pre-accident condition, not the whole car. Good thing you don't live in Rocks and Stones, they only allow bumpers to be fixed there.
