Daughter struck by drunk driver

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? North carolina

My daughter (17) was struck by a drunk driver while she was stopped at a stop sign in a residential area. The driver under the influence T-boned her on the driver's side, pushed her car out of the way (it would have flipped her over had the stop sign not prevented her car from rolling over) and continued to drive into a tree in a private residents yard. The police report stated that the 26 year old driver was charged with dui and driving with a revoked license. Fortunately all the airbags in my daughter's car deployed and although the car was 'totaled' my daughter had only minor abbrassions and bruising from the airbags and steering wheel. She has been seeing a chiropractor for back pain and headache and has been released from medical care. My question is "what compensation is she entitled to other than the cost of the car (totaled) and reembursement of medical expenses? The other driver was found quilty of the dui charge and jailed as it was a repeat offense.

You REALLY need to speak to a personal injury attorney...for your daughter's sake.
