My daughter was a passenger in a car in car-train accident. The insurance company has covered all medical expences which have totaled about ten thousand dollars. They have made a settlement offer of eleven five. I was told by a former adjuster that his company often settled for about 300% of expences. What would be resonable to pursue.

Dear sstiger;

What kind of injuries did your daughter sustain? Do the physicians anticipate her injuries will require future medical intervention?

I would suggest you contact a personal injury attorney IMMEDIATELY! Once you settle, regardless of the amount, you cannot hit the insurance company up for any future medical expenses. By hiring an attorney, he will see that all future bills are covered by the insurance company. Also, he/she will take your case (most do) on a contingency basis.

Good luck and God bless!

Pam
