Hi,
i am following a case in which an individual has been accused of maliciously defaming A Company (ticker: SNMM) and it's Management by using messagboards and various websites he created which he uses to posts allegedly false and malicious statements regarding the company and it's management.
the individual is believed to reside in Belgium. The company filed in both the Belgium Courts, and Vancouver, B.C. courts (where the companies business is located).

the company recieved a judgement against the individual from the Belgium courts ordering the individual to stop posting defamatory comments and to nerver use the company name or managment names on any of its sites.

the company therefore dropped the case filed in the Vancouver courts claiming since a judgement was granted in the Belgium courts already, there was no need to proceed w/ the one in the Vancouver courts.

my question is, is this correct? since the judgement was handed down by the belgium courts, does that mean if the indiviual relocates his websites to Vancouver, that the order from belgium is still in effect?

thanks much
