What is the name of your state? SC

My insurance refuses to pay a depreciation check on my 1998 car in a "no fault" accident. She says my car is to old. Regardless of the age of may car is there a law that states I am intitled to a check since I can no longer sell my car for the same amount of money as before the accident?
