I was involed in an accident, but it was not my fault. It was a brand new 2000 ford. We had the truck less than a month when it was hit. We had the truck fixed, and was going to collect the diminished value. Two weeks after the truck was fixed it was hit again. Again not our fault. I want to know if we can still collect the diminished value from the first accident. The state is Georgia.

Did you apply already? Did you have it fixed the first time before you were hit again? You can collect much easier if one of the two questions above have a yes answer. Otherwise, good luck explaining your demise to insurance company 1.
