The repair shop who is fixing my car called and informed me that they can not replace the broken wheel because it is discontinued. I even spent some time searching online with no luck. I talked to the insurance adjuster who is covering this claim and she told me that they would give me an apperance allowance of 200.00 toward a replacement wheel of my choice. Thus I would end up with one different wheel on my car. They will not pay for 4 of the same wheel. Or i can purchace a new set of wheels -200.00 but I really do not want to do this since the accident was not my fault any advice

Take the appearance allowance. They do not have to replace all 4 wheels when only one was damaged.

Since only two wheels are visible at a time, I only worry about matching wheels on one side of the car, although I run steel wheels with removable covers.
