What is the name of your state? Colorado My car was damaged while being towed by a rental truck driven by my son's friend. The accident report clearly states that he was the driver, and that he fell asleep at the wheel. I want to file a claim with his insurance company, but he refuses to give me the name. Is there a way to find out who the insurance company, or do I have to file a lawsuit to obtain that information through discovery?

There's a couple of ways to find out:
1. File a claim with your insurance company and they'll get the information.
2. File a case in small claims court.
3. Get a friend at the DMV.
4. Get some friends with baseball bats. ;)
