What is the name of your state? GA

I registered my car and bought insurance at GA. Now, I will move to Detroit for 2 or 3 months. Do I need notify my insurance company? Will they increase my rate?

Thx,

Sorry, I change my question,
If I have two cars, a brand new and an old one, both are registered and insured at GA.
Now I drive my old car to Detroit, stay there for one year, I need a new registration, a new
insurance policy, a new drive license. My questions are:
How about my new car, which is still at GA. I mean since I use a Michigan drive license, I come back GA,
drive my new car , meet an accident, will the new car's insurance cover me?
Do I need change my new car's
insurance because of my Michigan's drive license?

Any kind of guidance will be appreciated,

If I need open a new thread for these, please let me know

Typically an insurance application will ask where a vehicle is usually garaged (or parked overnight), how many miles driven, and whether for business. Be honest and it may cost less for the vehicle left in GA (unless a high crime area), than if it was in MI.
