What is the name of your state? KY

I was rear ended (passenger) and KY is a no-fault state. The PIP coverage of the car I was in is paying for the medical expenses and lost wages. I am wondering once the case is settled with the faulty driver's insurance company, do I need to pay back the amount (medical bills and lost wages) paid by PIP out of the settlement I may receive? I understand PIP will eventually go after the faulty driver's auto insuranc company and get the money back, but what if I settles the case with the faulty driver's insurance company? Thanks a lot for your help!

That depends on your state laws. In PA, PIP payments are non-recoverable by the insurance company - they can't take it from your settlement OR recover them from the other insurance company themselves. I would suggest asking your PIP adjuster to find out for sure.
