Doesn't Look Good

My best friend has led a frantic life at times. In 1998 she was busted big time for a pot growing operation (big bust ... it was on the evening news and all), they never caught her live in boyfriend who also was involved. She somehow got away with 3 yrs probation. This is almost up. She is trying to get her life on track.

Fast forward to this year. She was living in VA, and has her driver's license there. She then moved to DE, and never changed her address. (stupid, right ?) Well in Sept 2000 she was pulled over for a traffic stop in MD and arrested because her passenger had pot. She had a fugitive warrant out on her from DE because I think for shoplifting. Well, I guess that is why she never changed her address. Anyway the state dismissed the charges ...go figure ? but cool for her. She left her address as VA.

Now Aug 2001 she was in an accident in MD, and didnt get a ticket. Then in October 2001 another accident, in DE, this time rolled the car over and totalled it. She was ticketed. Also they think she is still living in VA by her license. She has not paid the fine and bought a new car.

What is most likely going to happen to her ? Will her probation be extended ? or license revoked ?? We are worried because she has 2 kids and already lost custody of one due to the 1998 arrest.

I told her she is living life on the edge but she thinks there is no way anyone will pin her down to anything **************....

My response:

John Dillinger, Bonnie & Clyde, Ma Barker, Billy the Kid, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, all thought the same thing as your "best friend", and look what happened to each of them.

All were turned into Swiss cheese, by dying in a hail of bullets.
