Dog Mauled

I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. But earlier today I had my dog in the yard and one of the pitbulls from next door jumped over the fence and killed him. Its a family dog thats been with us for a while so it really shook us up. The man next door still has 2 other pitts. Is there anything we can do, We've expressed our concerns to him and I guess he didnt listen. I would like to send a message to him that he may listen to if you know what I mean.
