My friend in TN was at her friend's house and her son was in the back yard. He walked to the fence where a rottweiler was at and the dog jump and hit his paw at the son and serverly damage my friends son eye. He had to have sitches to fix it. Can they sue the owner of the dog for damages and the medical bill? I do not think that they can do that since the dog was on his property and the boy was on the neighbors property. Please let me know.
