Driving MI licensed/insured car in CA...

What is the name of your state? California

My wife will be driving our MI licensed/insured car in Los Angeles for a bit. The insurance company says the car will be covered while driving out of state. Does anyone have experience with filing a claim for an out of state accident? How did the insurance company handle it? Is this something we should be more concerned with?

Just remember that CA is not a no fault state. Make sure that your liability limits are sufficient and if your car is newer, you should have collision coverage as well. Other then that, your insurance should treat it like any other accident.
