drunk driver hit my car when it was parked in front of my house

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WA
his insurance company called me and said they take liability. my trucks at a shop and the est. is 4 thousand and something.im just wondering after its fixed it will never be worth what it was my husband said we should get an lawyer but i dont know. we still owe 12,126 and it blue booked around that 13000 mind you that i have already paid over 8000 on it. IM REALLY LOST AT WHAT TO DO IM A MOTHER OF SEVEN AND THIS WAS OUR ONLY CAR

Let them fix your truck back to its pre-accident condition. With seven kids, you have better things to do then waste time trying to prove a diminished value claim. They should provide you with a rental car which is big enough to suit your needs for the time your car is in the shop, as well.
