dui?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VA
i ran into the back of a parked car and was arrested for DUI. i have an arreignment on 03/02/09. what happens at this court date and will they give me an attorney or do i need to see one? this is my first offense. no other persons were involved. i just hit their parked car. what should my next steps be and what will happen to me at the arreignment?
