DUI Case. Friend tottaled car

What is the name of your state? Colorado

A friend used my car and tottaled it while drunk. I didn't give him the keys, but was not there to tell him no either. Can't say he stole it 'cause he was allowed to use it at times. Any help? Either legal, or how insurance might react, etc.

Well you have an ADULT decesion to make:

Your friend, or your car.

You cant have both.

If you dont press charges for theft, your insurance rates will skyrocket, and you might have to file sr22 high risk insurance, no problem if you have plenty of money.

Your friend just cost you a lot of money.....decesions decesions, this is what life is about.
