In the state of Florida, I use my personal vehical for
buisness purposes (about 50K miles annually). I am
compensated on a montly basis with a flat rate.
Just recently, I was involved in a accident which may or
may not be considered my fault. Is my employer, in any
way, obligated to help in the event I am at fault?

Does you employer own your vehicle? Is your insurance supplied through your employer? If the answer is no to the questions than your employer has no responsibility for your problem. In fact, if your employement is dependant upon you having a vehicle and you do not have one to use, you can be fired.
