tennessee....while driving in memphis i rolled into the rear of a car at a stop....it was clearly my fault. however, there was no visible damage on either car and NO police report was made, i left my business card with the other driver. i recently received a repair estimate for $1500 from the other driver...i cannot believe there was any damage at all, with no police report, am i legally responsible to pay?
