False Information Against Me

What is the name of your state? Alabama

An insurance quote has false information on me.
It says my violation date is today 7-5-2006.
When the actual violation date was 9- 15- 2005.

Should I write a letter asking them to correct this information?
What if I do and they still won't correct it ?
Should I sue for false information? I have the proof.
Please Help.

You want to SUE over an insurance QUOTE? Where did the company obtain the information? Have you ASKED them to correct it? Did you estimate the date originally, so they just used a default date (today)? What HARM has this caused you?
