Is Family Breaking The Law?

Good afternoon. My husband is the type who has to be at death's door before he takes a sick day. Unfortunately, this strong work ethic does not extend to other members of his family.
Specifically, my husband's uncle (age 45, divorced) was put on Georgia disability at least three years ago for a sleep condition (he'd fall asleep at the wheel-he was a trucker). Yet, he continued to drive 30 miles one way to visit his elderly mother and usually cajole her into giving him a check.Now the uncle is again driving a truck for a company but is still claiming disability. Shouldn't the payments from his job and the help-out money from his mother count against disability? I know it does when you file for unemployment and then find a job.
My husband doesn't hope to gain anything financially by your answer and no vendetta is involved. He just is tired of working two jobs to support his family while others take the easy way out.

And reporting the welfare fraud will help your husband get more time off how? If he has no financial motive to report the fraud, then the only reason to report the fraud is a vendetta. That's sort of the definition of a vendetta. Not that vendettas are necessarily bad things. I'm all for reporting welfare fraud. I just think you should be honest about your motives. It'll save therapy bills later.
