What is the name of your state? Oregon
I was injured in rear-end accident about 2 years ago. At the time, other driver did not have isurance info on him. Later that day, his mother refused the info when I called.
My lawyer says they were NOT obligated to provide it . ..( it took him about a 1 1/2 years to get it)
and
he says the other insurance company does NOT have to disclose policy limits (so he made an inappropriate minimum demand for settlement without consulting me first)
Isn't this info REQUIRED immediately after an accident?
