We chose to pay for a fender bender rather than submit it to our insurance company. The first estimate we received included repairs for damage that had nothing to do with the accident. The guys insurance company did address this issue but added an accident fee on the second estimate. Are they allowed to charge accident fees? I've never heard of charges that have nothing to do with actual repairs.
