What is the name of your state? Illinois

My friend got into an accident with my car. She did'nt hit anyone and nobody was hurt but the right side of the car was damaged. I told my insurance company what happened. They sent me a paper to fill out. One of the questions that was asked was if the driver (my friend) has her own insurance?

My questions are:
Does it matter wether or not she has insurance.
What if she doesnt?
What if she does?

Thanks for the help. :)

if she is insured, your carrier will want to go after her carrier for reimbursement for the money they paid to fix your car.

if she is uninsured, they may go after her for reimbursement.

Oh by the way, your rates are going to go up.
