A golf ball shattered my windshield. It came from the golf course across the highway. I have a police report and the golf ball itself. Is the golf course liable to at least pay my deductible($50)?. It happened in Pennsylvania.
Golf courses are required to do what ever possible to protect the public from errant golf balls. Have you gone to the course and talked to the manager yet? What happened to you may happen more than you think and the course manager probably deals with complaints from folks like you on a regular basis. The insurance the golf course carries may pick up the whole tab for a new windshield.
