Got in an accident in someone's elses car

What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania
I borrowed a friend's car and waI received a couple of summones, but one of them was for an expired inspection. Can I fight that since I did not own the car?

As the operator of a motor vehicle, it is your responsibility to insure that the vehicle is legal, including the licensing of the vehicle. The ticket is yours to pay.

Not like it's hard to check whether a PA car is inspected, the sticker is right on the windshield!

You can fight whatever you want. Whether you'll win is an entirely different question. IMHO, you do have a chance if you happen to get a magistrate on a good day and they're feeling nice.
