I was turning(left) into a parking lot from the road. Another car coming out of the lot(He was turning left) hit the driverside backdoor of my car. Is it my fault?
The parking lot did not have any stop signs.

Phoenix,az.

Why does your magic 8-ball think so? Seems to me that absent a traffic light, right-of-way would inhere to the car in the road, turning into the parking lot, with the vehicle in the parking lot having a duty to yield ROW until safe to enter roadway. Additionally, point of damage on nutcrocker's car indicates she was struck -- and well into her turn.

What are the insurance companies saying, NutC?

It sounds like you had the right of way. He was entering a public right of way from a private way. Absent of alcohol or gross negligence on your part, which the police (were they called?) would have had to cite you for, his insurance should be paying for everything.
