We live in Colorado. Our disabled child (mentally retarded)got off the bus after her third day of school at a new district. She was limping terribly. Her foot was broken. The teacher said in a note that she had "bumped her shin at lunch recess and decided she needed to limp...We called it milking the situation". They never called. They made my retarded, limping child walk on a broken foot for the rest of the day. I don't know what to do. She is supposed to have an aide. She is supposed to be supervised.
