hit by drunk driver

What is the name of your state? TX

About 5months ago I was rearended by a drunk driver and had to go to the doctor for several months and even hired a lawyer.
The woman that hit me was taken to jail on the spot for DWI and DUI. She was also on perscription pills that were not hers. She is still in jail to my knowledge. She did have insurance.
I recenlty got my PIP settlement check. It wasn't as much as I had expected due to my lawyer taking out fees for himself and the doctor. And because I am "of-age" my parents really have no say in the case. I am still in pain and settlement proceedings have begun.
I wish to FIRE my lawyer, but am unsure how. I do not know what I need to do this. Do I need to already have a lawyer? Do I need to pay my lawyer? etc...

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
