Hit head on

What is the name of your state?

I was driving on a single lane highway stoped behind truck making a L hand turn, the truck turned right in front of suv, suv hit rear of truck then struck me head on. My injuries include neck pain, restricted movement of neck, headaches, shoulder impingment, low back pain, and minor knee pain from the engine coming into the car. This happened in January of 2005. Many dr.'s including neurologist, physical therapy, orthopedist, pain management specialist. I don't understand where my case is going. I don't know what exactly my lawyer is doing. How do I know if my lawyer is really helping me? I am 21 and all of this confuses me to no end. I am very upset because all my hobbies are very physical and am not able to participate. also I am told that things such as arthritis will most likley occur earlier in life... will that be factored into my suit? Please help ssoooooo confused. Thank you.

Do you have insurance? Is the lawyer through your insurance, or a private party?

Anything that is documented by a licensed doctor as being directly attributed to the accident will be factored into your suit.

yes all parties have insurance. My lawyer is a private party lawyer.
