hit n run got plate #

i was involved in a hit and run accident yesterday in which i got the drivers license plate. Is there anyway i can find out their insurance information from the license plate#. i did not have insurance on my car. i am a kentucky resident.

First of all, did you report it to the police? To get their insurance information, take a copy of the police report to the DMV and ask them for the other driver's insurance information.

thnaks, yeah i reported it to the police and a report was filed... i just did not know if they would release that info
